The Wallace Clan

So Sunday afternoon started with a visit to see Sarah, Jack, Louise and Susan, all bright eyed and bushy tailed, in bright coloured clothing, raring to go!

Now the surprise of the afternoon was how much of a poser little Jack was! Performed to the max.
Quick Sarah, get him signed up!!

Below are a few pictures taken on that lovely sunny spring afternoon :)

DD & JT's Pre-Wedding Shoot

So the good weather carried over from Saturday to Sunday (well it did a little bit!) but thankfully, for our afternoon shoot at the beautiful Gibside, my very good friends, and newlyweds to be, Donna and John were able to discard their coats at intermittent intervals.

John was a worried boy, but judging by his pouts, he has nothing to worry about! And Miss Devlin - a complete natural!

So with a bit of a mad afternoon with these crazy two, I suddenly realised that the next time I'll be taking their photos, will be at their wedding in May. They made my life so easy yesterday and appeared to be on my wavelength (does that make me crazy too then??!!) that I got a sudden buzz thinking of their wedding day and the fun and hilarity that will be waiting for us.

But until then, these lovely pictures will have to tide us over 'til May :)

PS - Thanks Donna and John for a FABULOUS afternoon - my face has only just stopped aching from all the laughing :)) x

Spring!

Good evening peeps!
Well we had glorious weather on Monday (which hasn't been repeated since!) so I thought I'd take the newbie camera out for a little jaunt to see what we could find.

I've been itching for the sun to arrive and for the spring plants to literally pop and scatter the landscape with a bit more colour, after such a long winter.

So off we went (newbie and I) along some narrow country lanes in the look out for "spring".
Here's the content of our journey :))

The Evans Family

So today's little assignment was to photograph The Evans Family.
Mammy, Daddy, Callum, Erin and new baby Layla.

Now I have photographed these chaps before but in very different circumstances - Lisa and Alan asked me to photograph their wedding 2 years ago, and now, invited me to their home to capture 4 week old Layla and her older brother and sister.

Callum, 7, became my new best friend - he even managed to take some shots!! Now hey lad - don't be stealing my career before its begun! ;)

Erin, 2, was very shy but soon came out of her shell when that magic word "sweeties" was mentioned!! Funny - so did I!!

And Layla, 4 weeks old, was the perfect model! (and Mam and Dad behaved themselves too!)

So the morning was spent with them nattering and chattering, laughing and playing.
Here's a few photos of the gorgeous Evans girls and boys xx
