Wor Bobby!!

This little blog is the follow up to the pregnancy blog the other week - aka the arrival of the bump in a Bobby shaped format!!
He's almost 3 weeks old on these photos, cute as a button & a dab hand at making friends!
Have a peak...

Mr & Mrs Brown

Remember remember the 5th of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...

...or should the wedding of Mr & Mrs Brown, as it was upon this very day that they were wed!
Now this wedding has to be the quickest arranged wedding I've ever known! Louise told me they had booked it at the end of September! Now thats what I call planning! Organised to a T!
The day also had a poignant meaning to Louise as it would have been her Grandad's birthday, but unfortunately he passed away earlier this year.

The day arrived and up to Morpeth Town Hall I went for their 4pm vows. I'd never been inside the Town Hall before and can say it is a beautiful building inside. There I found Paul, as cool as a cucumber, with his brother alongside him, fulfilling the Best-Man duties and his nephew, with the title of ring bearer. A few shots were taken & then I received the text from Louise to say "I'm outside"!!
I excused myself and headed down the stairs to greet the bride, who looked gorgeous. And then it began..................

My first pregnancy shoot

I have this very good friend I've known for about 7 years now, after meeting at a baby group when our eldest kids were just babies. Since then we've both had a second but she's gone one better and had a third!! I won't be following suit I have to add!!

So I posed a question to her as she finished her final stint at work - "would you do a pregnancy photo shoot with me?" and she responded with a yes! Fabulous!

The Tuesday arrived of the photo shoot and she'd even said to me she may be prepared to do a "Demi"! Out came an array of bags with different tops and dresses - which ones would be best?? Anything comfortable for you I say. We click away using different backgrounds and lighting, different outfits having a laugh and a giggle as always.
Then she says - yep I think I can do the Demi! So after a few carefully posed tester shots we managed to create (I think!) a lovely shot of "bump" in its true form.
Good job too as a week later and almost 3 weeks early - the bump decided it would like to be out & out he came in a tiny, cutesy bundle - and thats to come in another blog very soon!

Anyway, I would like to thank my super friend for being my guinea pig and allowing me to capture what I hope are some treasured keepsake photos for her and the family. :) x

Broomhaugh C of E First School

So this is the name of the school my kids go to. I was originally approached by the head teacher to take the school photographs. A PTA meeting was had and a decision was made that
Sought After Photography would be the one this year to capture the little darlings in all their school-uniformed glory!

I suppose it was easier for the kids too as they all know me so getting them to smile
wasn't too difficult.

I can say though that this was the first photography job where I've ached from head to foot as rolling around on the floor whilst the kids did the same, took its toll!
But I hope that some natural shots were captured in the process - here's but a few )

The Wilson's

So this little shoot was a real treat as it was a gift for the birthday boy Charlie who turned one last month. My first gift-photoshoot too!

Now I was told that Big Sis was a dab hand at making Little Bro laugh and she sure did! It was lovely to see a very special bond between them even at such an early age. That's the funny thing about a camera, you see people everyday but until you look through that little square view finder, you don't really SEE people!

I had a really great time with The Wilson's and hope the photos show how much. :))
