The Johnstons!

So, August 18th 2011 found me at the South Causey Inn just outside Stanley, lurking around the new extension, trying to find a bride! I of course did find her, being preened and pampered in the attached hair salon, surrounded by her Mum and bridesmaids. Nerves seemed to be in check, but she told me otherwise!!

All bridesmaids were on top form also, (apart from spilling most of the pre-wedding champers!!) even down to a "please-can-you-tie-the-laceup-on-the-back-of-my-dress" train!! (something I was included in which seems to go hand in hand with my wedding photo shoots!!)

Once done, the sun shone, guests arrived and the wedding music started to play.

I've known Dom for a lot of years as we used to train together at the same swimming club (fortunately the smell of chlorine had vanished from us both!!) so being able to share and especially capture his and Christine's special day, was an honor for me.

So, Im delighted to be able to share a selection of their wedding photos with you also.

The Errington Kids

Mid July I was asked to take some photos of these lovely kids. They belong to a teacher from my kids school and Brad, the youngest, has just left to go to middle school. Now, you will not get any more pleasant and polite kids than these 3! Just THE best!

Even after the photoshoot they were thanking me 'til the cows came home - bless them! But it should have been the other way round as they're really natural!!

The Hamiltons!

Phew! What a busy few weeks!! Studio shoots, weddings (as a guest!!) house visitors!! But I managed to fit in the editing in between and so, here we introduce The Hamiltons!


Good friends of mine from "baby group days" so great to photograph them especially as there's a new addition! 1 year old Toby! He follows Max whose 7 and Sam whose 5 - & nope - they won't be having another to see if they get a girl!! Ps Mum & Dad refused to tell me their ages so answers on a postcard please!!


Well as we sat and chatted little Toby took his first steps so we quickly decided it would be best to not wear him out too much too soon before getting some shots. Up we went to the "studio" and got some brilliant ones! On followed the big brothers, who I have to say, were complete posers!! Obviously LOVE having their photos taken - so - let me show you the results! :)

Miss Phoebe Allison

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful young lady last Sunday. What a little cutie pie she was!
A total natural in front of the camera and loved the bubbles we had to hand!


So well behaved and had a ball chasing bubbles, cuddling toys but most of all loved her telephone (and her Daddy's and mine too come to think of it!)
